Top 10s For Logan Christian And Nate LaValley
Aurora, Minn. (April 5, 2023) – The 2023 AMSOIL Championship Snocross season concluded in less than desirable fashion with warm temps and deteriorating snow conditions causing havoc for both racers and their machines. Nevertheless, the faithful Iowa race fans turned out in big numbers at the Sundown Mountain Resort to witness all of the aciton.
It was a challenging weekend on the track with Hunter Patenaude posting overall triple crown results of 7-7 and Logan Christian going 8-11. All was not lost, however, as Patenaude’s results placed him at fourth overall in the 2023 Pro class Championship. Christian, on the strength of his early season success, finished eighth in the final tally.
Nathan LaValley qualified for both Sport Lite class finals finishing sixth and tenth, good for tenth overall in the class.
The team made our two final school visits of the snocross season where we interacted with students and presented Race to the Future Scholarshop on behalf of the U.S. Air Force.
